  • This Electric Vehicle lifestyle brand manufacturer is backed by one of the world’s largest Asian OEMs and offers their vehicles on a subscription only basis. In order to maintain optimal fleet health for its subscription business model, accelerate its time to market and the company sought an end-to-end OTA and data logging solution.
  • The existing OTA software update and data logging solution was being evaluated for in-house development or sourcing via multiple partners.  This approach resulted in a longer time to market as well as costly integration efforts, versus utilizing single system that could address all connected vehicle use case requirements.

  • Established a closed feedback loop between the vehicle and cloud to accelerate software feedback and collecting diagnostics, critical to the customer's subscription business model. 
  • Realized cost savings of $20K per development vehicle by eliminating the need for costly data logging hardware across its beta fleet, resulting in a total of $600K savings and reducing beta bring-up timelines.
  • Realized a cost savings of $11M+ in equivalent engineering resources and validation costs by not building software updates and logging capabilities in-house.
